Four County is offering virtual support groups to all frontline workers every Monday. With the support and funding provided by the Community Foundation of Howard County, Four County will start facilitating virtual support groups utilizing the ZOOM video conferencing platform. Sessions would be hosted by Whitney Merrell, a behavioral health provider employed by Four County, who will provide support, education and resources to these individuals to increase well-being and access to needs and services.These support groups will focus on topics such as:
- Anxiety
- Compassion Fatigue
- Depressive Symptoms
- Self-care
- Possible Triggers
- Substance Abuse Education

Turning Point & Community Howard are providing First Responder Virtual Care Groups.
These online groups will utilize ZOOM to team up mental health providers and first responder PEERS who are trained in the Critical Incident Stress Management approach.
These teams will facilitate meetings that will give people on the front lines a place to come and share their struggles and needs.

Home health-care workers
DCS workers
Food service workers
The CARE Group ZOOM meetings will happen Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9am and 6pm.
Meetings will be 1 hour meetings and will kickoff on April 20th.
