At United Way, we have a community of employees who strive to do their best and recognize the value of our mission and the teamwork necessary for success. United Way’s mission to improve lives and strengthen communities is fueled by the passion and hard work of tons of volunteers. People are giving their time and talents to create lasting solutions that improve life for everyone.
Meaningful community solutions require more than money or programs or policies. The kind of real and lasting change that benefits everyone is only possible when people from all walks of life are willing to roll up their sleeves and go where their time and talent is most needed. #BetterTogether
Our mission: We believe in the transforming power of compassion and cooperation. The United Way of Howard County provides the leadership necessary to identify and respond effectively to the community's most pressing social needs.
